The organisers of the Bream coffee morning for Macmillan’s and the helpers would like to thank all those that supported the event at the Sports Club.
More then £300 was raised during the morning.

As per shops and other outlets, customers must wear a mask within the club – EXCEPT when seated at a table. if you forget your mask, we can supply a temporary one for a small charge.
Orders must now be placed while seated at a table.
Customers must leave the premises at 10 p.m.

Work on the new playing surface continues. Nick has now run over the ground with his verti-drain to aid aeration and drainage. The tines in the vert-drain penetrate several inches into the ground. The photo shows Jon discussing the work with Nick (right).

In the second Bream Fest Match, Bream Amateurs took on Bream Rugby Club. Eventually, the sun fell below the cloudbase lighting up the spectators on the Lawn.

The match was won by Bream Cricket Club -no embarrassment there – but Bream Amateurs gave a good account of themselves.

On a lovely evening, Bream Junior Cricket became the first home team to win a match on The Lonk, since 2015 when work on the ground improvements commenced.
